Unlike most social dance instructors, Ms. Corey integrates much of the technique and styling normally only taught in private lessons into her group classes, with lots of personal attention for each student. This can be done because enrollment per class is limited to a manageable number. The results are that Ms. Corey’s students display an uncommon level of mastery, grace and confidence; they don’t just know “steps”, but have learned to lead and follow so well that a first dance with any partner is never an awkward situation.
